I ordered the simple waffle, Otto on the go, topped with coconut blossom sugar. The waffle was so light and fluffy, and perfectly crispy! It was served warm and the sugar gave just the right amount of sweetness. I also got an iced caramel macchiato, which was delicious. It wasn’t overly sweet like many iced coffees (sugar is available for those who prefer their coffee sweet), but it still had a lovely caramel flavour. This is a nice twist on the more traditional Belgian waffles, and I’ll definitely be back!

Overlooking the canal, Otto Waffle Atelier is a great place for plant-based waffles (on request). The waffles taste just as good as they did two years ago when I first visited: made with high-quality ingredients and delicious on their own or with a variety of delicious toppings. The view is beautiful, the coffee is great, and the space is always clean and inviting.

Very quick and efficient service by a lovely lady and I met the wonderful Otto who owns the shop. This was honestly the best waffle I have ever had. It was beautifully presented, piping hot and so fluffy it felt like it was melting in my mouth. Otto explained how they were made with oat flour, less sugar and sustainable oil but it tasted so decadent you would never know! Definitely a must visit. I had the Chocolate Lady waffle. I ate overlooking the water so that made the experience even better!
